Intuition: The Basics and BeyondStep 1: Sensing Energy -- There is energy in everything in the universe. We have become de-sensitized to feeling that energy. In this experiential class, you will be invited to become re-sensitized to feeling that energy. You will discover that not all energy feels the same. For the more advanced students, you will experiment with sensing energy at a distance - and, yes, it can be done. Step 2: Grounding, Centering, and Protection -- As you become aware of the subtler energies of the universe, you will discover that not everyone has your highest good as their goal. If you have attended one of my lectures at one of the Body Mind Spirit Expos, you have been introduced to this topic. We will revisit it now (and teach the methods to those who didn't attend), as well as take it a step further. We will discuss what you may need protection from, as well as how to go about it. I am not trying to scare you, these are things that have already been happening to you. But now you may be more aware of them as your focus changes and you can sense what is happening. Step 3: Chakras -- Of the many energy centers in the body (and around it), there are seven major (some schools of thought use nine) energy centers. These are the chakras. They are what govern our bodies from an energetic standpoint. When they are aligned, clear and working properly, then all is right with our bodies. But, when the are misaligned, dirty, or blocked, then we run into problems. We will explore what each chakra governs, as well as the care and maintenance of them. Step 4: Tuning into Your Intuition -- Here you will learn how to get out of your own way so that you can actually hear, and hopefully act on, your intuition. You will have lots of time to practice with your fellow students. This will be a fun time to explore. This class is being split into two classes (Part I and Part II) to allow more time for practice in class. Step 5: Meeting Your Guides -- Yes, at last, the class you have been waiting for! We will discuss the purpose for our guides, who they are, and how to interact with them. A guides meditation will introduce you to at least one of your guides. Step 6: Stones and Crystals -- We have available an abundance of help for our journey here on earth. Stone and crystals are essential. They offer help, healing, comfort, teaching, and more things than I even know. Yes, all stones are valuable - from the diamonds in your jewelry to the rocks on the side of the road. We will explore some of their specific gifts, as well as the care and feeding of your stones. If you have a particular stone you are interested in, by all means we can discuss it. This is one of my favorite topics. Step 7: Energy Healing -- There are many forms of energy healing - Reiki, Quantum Touch, Therapeutic Touch, Aurasoma, Crystal Therapy, and many others that I can't remember the names of right now. You will notice that they all have one thing in common - 'energy'. We will discuss the different forms, and compare and contrast them. We can try some of them if the class desires. As a Reiki Master, I am, of course, most familiar with this form of healing, but I will never discount any other form. I would like to invite each member of the class to share their own favorite method of healing. Step 8: Angels, Fairies, and Other Helpers -- Sometimes we may feel like we are on this journey all alone. We couldn't be further from the truth. We are never alone. We will explore the help we have available and how to access it. Step 9: Oracle Cards -- Here we will explore the use of Oracle cards. There are many different types, and each has its own particular 'flavor' when doing a reading. I have many decks, or you can bring your own. While my preference is to use Angel cards, if there is interest we will also discuss Tarot. Step 10: Psychometry, Auras, and Pendulums -- Here we will explore psychometry (doing a reading from an object), auras (seeing them, and what that means), and using pendulums to help us get information from the Universe. Step 11: Numerology -- The science of numbers that has been used for thousands of years to predict events as well as explain personalities and events. We will look at your personal numbers and what they mean for you now and in the future. Step 12: Alters and Space Clearing -- We will discuss the reasons to have an alter, and how to set it up. We will also discuss the reasons for doing space clearing, what tools are required, and how to do it. Step 13: Indigo, Crystal, and Rainbow Children -- We will explore what the coming of these special children means for us as a world. We will discuss their individual traits, and how to help them do the tasks they have come to do. Step 14: Astral Projection vs Astral Travel -- What happens when we leave our bodies? The 4th Saturday of the month, class will be held in Redmond, WA, at the Maitreya Center. -No, you don't need to attend both - but you are always welcome to if you feel led.
