Greetings Friends - November 2006

Welcome to the inaugural issue of my new newsletter! I would like to tell you that it will be the same each time it comes out, but, I really don’t have a clue what form it will take each time. I can’t even say how often it will appear in your mailbox. Yes, folks, we are winging it -- sorry, following Spirit.

First, some business………I have set the date for my first class!!

Date: Friday, November 17th @ 6:30pm -- or -- Saturday, November 18th @ 10:30am

You can come to either time (whichever fits best into your schedule). Content will be similar in both sessions. Of course, you can always come to both if you want. I am sorry about the short notice. I will do better next month - it will probably also be the third weekend, Dec. 15th and 16th. I just need to confirm that the conference room is available.

Title for this series is ‘Intuition: the Basics’, and we will cover Step 1: Sensing Energy, and possibly, Step 2: Grounding, Centering, and Protection. It will all depend on the group. While I have an idea of what I want to cover, the guides may have a different agenda. I want to make the classes an open and safe place to try something new. We are all learning together. I know that I will learn as much from you as you will learn from me - if not more.

Location: 8855 SW Holly Lane, Wilsonville, in the conference room (this is also where my new office is located. It is right off I-5 at Exit 283. If coming from the north, from the off ramp go left under the freeway (stay in the right lane). Make the first right onto Parkway (right after the northbound off ramp). Proceed approx ¼ mile. It is the Crown Building across from the Snooze Inn. If coming from the south, from the off ramp you are almost making a u-turn onto Parkway, then it is the same as above.

Cost: I am doing the classes by donation, with a suggestion of $25, but this is only a suggestion. I am also offering a discount on a reading for anyone who either refers someone, or brings someone with you. The discount will be a discount of 10% for each person up to a maximum of 50% per reading.

Questions and Reservations: Either email me or call me on my cell phone 503-484-3994. I will, of course, also have my phone the day of the class if you need better directions.

On to the body of the newsletter……….. One of the reasons you are getting short notice for my class is that I didn’t know what I was going to write about. Of course what I didn’t acknowledge is that I am not the one writing this. Yes, it is my fingers on the keyboard, but the content is coming from Spirit. A couple of times I thought about getting a pad of paper and writing the content so that I could just type it into the computer, but I knew that wasn’t going to work, that it would be composed as I typed. So here we go.

I spent the month of September on the road. I left home on August 28th, and returned home on September 28th. Why, you ask, where did I go? I will start at the beginning. I had a class in Chicago the beginning of September with my teacher, Sonia Choquette. I was thinking about the airfare, and boarding my dogs, and the idea popped into my head that it wasn’t that far to drive to Chicago. Then I would only board my boys while I was in the class and we could visit some of my friends around the country. Sounded simple. Well, I began making appointments: a reading with my teacher in Chicago, a Lomi Lomi session in Kansas City, a shamanic session in St.Louis, and to visit various friends and relatives. In my thirty days, I drove 7,310 miles and was in 14 different states. It was amazing! Did I get to see everyone I wanted to? No. I have a tendency to be a control freak. I like to know what to expect. Normally when I travel, I have every stop planned and maps and brochures for every place. One of my goals for this trip was to loosen up on the control and go where Spirit led. Not as easy as it sounds. I plotted a course, then found out that the people I was to visit were going to be gone - oops. New plan. I must admit that things changed several times before I even got on the road.

It would take pages to tell you everything that happened on the trip. I do want to tell you this - about half way thru my month, I hit a wall. I was getting ready for bed in my motel room (Motel 6 is a good way to travel if you have pets - cheap, clean and welcoming.) and suddenly all I could think about was that I wanted to go home. I was tired, the boys were getting on my nerves, and I just wanted to go home. I remember sitting there and saying it out loud. But, I had commitments to visit a friend in Denver, and my nephew in college in Tucson. I know that if I had called them and said that it was too much and I was going home instead of visiting, they would have understood, but I had made a commitment to myself as well as to Spirit. I try very hard not to break commitments. The next morning as I was packing up to head for Denver, I, again, acknowledged that I wanted to go home. Then, I hit the road again - Denver bound.

I think the last half of my trip was the most significant. I never again felt like going home. If fact I wished I had more time, but I had appointments that I had to get home for, as well as the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo. I ended up extending my stay in Tucson, and had a terrific time with my nephew. He is searching for answers so we spent a lot of time talking. We also visited a wonderful rock shop where I introduced him to the energy and healing properties of stones. He said he was very skeptical, but was able to feel the energy in some of the stones. It was terrific - and I would have missed it if I had just gone home. I also visited my uncle in the Napa Valley (not on the original plan). I started to see the name of the street that he lives on ‘Euclid Avenue’. I saw it in Tucson, and again in L.A. Since this is not a real common street name, I noticed it. So, I called him up and invited him out to lunch. We had a nice visit.

Really good things happen when you pay attention and allow Spirit to guide you. I was thinking about the significance of acknowledging that I wanted to go home. I think that if I had not said the words out loud, that the feeling would not have gone away, but would have festered and made the rest of the trip awful. What is the moral? It is okay to have feelings, and to acknowledge them, even if they are not ‘spiritual’, but we don’t have to act on them. It is a matter of looking at the bigger picture. We won’t always feel like doing what Spirit wants us to do, and it would have been okay if I had just gone home. But look at the reward I go for hanging in there. And, if I had quit (gone home), then I know that ego wouldn’t have let me forget it. But I didn’t quit. I had a blast. Yes, I would do it again. And, believe it or not, I didn’t listen to the radio or Cds or tapes or anything while driving, except, maybe, 5 or 6 hours total for the month. I spent the time looking at the scenery and talking with my guides. It was awesome.

Well, this is it for now. I hope that something spoke to you. If not, thank you for listening to my rambles.

Love and Blessings,

Kitty Enger

More on the classes……. It has come to my attention that, while I have an idea of what the classes will cover, you do not. Spirit reminded me that you are not reading my mind, so I must give a little better description (okay, more than just the title).

Thru this series, ‘Intuition: The Basics‘, we will be covering a wide variety of topics. It is not necessary to do them in order, and it is not necessary to do them all. (Though I would be thrilled if you did come to all of them.) We will cover: chakras, stones and crystals, auras, tuning into your intuition, psychometry, energy healing, and I don’t know what all else (or what order). If there is something in particular that you would like to learn, let me know. While I do not know everything (I know, it is shocking to hear), I do have access to all knowledge (and, yes, so do you). We can learn together.

Step 1: Sensing Energy will be just that. Everything in the universe has energy. We have sort of de-sensitized ourselves to feeling that energy. Not all energy feels the same. In this class, we will be re-sensitizing ourselves to feel energy. It will be a very experiential time of sensing not only each other’s energy, but that of various other things. It is a lot of fun to play with.

Step 2: Grounding, Centering, and Protection is also one of the basics. If you have attended one of my lectures at the Body Mind Spirit Expo, I quickly taught you how to ground. We will revisit that - and cover it if you were not there - as well as take it a couple of steps further. As we open ourselves up to different energies, we become aware that not everyone has our highest good as their goal. This is where protection comes in. No, it is not a martial arts class. When working with energy (and we all do, even if we are not aware of it) we become aware of just how easy it is to allow others to steal it. We will learn how to keep what is yours, and allow you the choice of if you want to give away your energy, and to whom.

I hope this has clarified what the classes will cover.

Okay, on to the fun stuff (okay, just my ramblings) -

Spirit and I have been concentrating on my being open to change and to listening and following. I usually do a pretty good job on the big issues, but now am working on the subtler things. This will be revisited later.

For Thanksgiving, since I do not have family here in Oregon, I was planning to drive down to the San Francisco Bay Area. Long story short, I ended up dining out Thanksgiving Day, then starting the drive down. I was only planning to go part way that Thursday, then continue on Friday. The big concern was the possibility of snow over the Siskyous. Ended up with no snow over the mountains and stopped for the night in Yreka, California. Here I had a second Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant next to the motel. I arrived in the Bay Area as planned, but since I had not been able to get hold of my friend (I was to stay in here mother's house), I went on to a Motel6.

I had a good time with family and friends, and was there until Tuesday. As I was packing to leave, I had a call from my sister-in-law and we decided to go out to lunch together after I checked out. We had a great visit, and the boys and I finally hit the road at about 3pm. Yes, we were starting a 10 hour drive that late in the afternoon. But since I wasn't planning to drive the whole way in one day, it was okay.

Here is what I wanted to tell you about........I have driven the 10 hours from here to California at least a hundred times. Most of the times, on the way back, all in one shot, with only food and rest stops. This time I was doing something different in breaking it up coming home. I stopped in a small town off I-5 for the night and got a good night's sleep. After sleeping in, we set off. Having to stop for gas, I pulled off and visited a Safeway to pick up a couple bottles of alcohol, since in California you can purchase it in the grocery stores. I also saw that they were giving flu shots that day, so I got mine. Needless to say, all of this took time. After getting gas, I saw that we would not arrive home until well after dark. I do not like driving in the dark, as especially don't like arriving home after dark. It's not a fear-thing, it's just one of my peculiarities. So, we stopped in Roseburg for the night. Then in the morning upon arriving in the area, I went straight to my accupuncture appointment before going home. I worked out great.

The thing I noticed though, was that because I changed how I drove home, I noticed thinges that I normally didn't. It was as if I was driving a different route. There were even times when I didn't know where I was. Normally, if I am driving a route I drive alot, I know what is coming up, and what to expect. I found that I didn't know what was coming up. Since I had changed my pattern, I had also changed my viewpoint. I pondered this as I drove - this means that my guides took the opportunity to talk to me about it. In changing my pattern and my viewpoint, I was able to focus on different aspects of the drive and the scenery. I was amazed. This is how we need to approach getting in touch with our intuition. Change our focus and see things from a different viewpoint. It is this shift in our focus that allows us to 'see' the subtler energies around us, as well as hearing our guides and intuition. It is all about changing our focus.

Greetings –                                              January 3, 2008

I hope that you had a restful holiday season.  I went to visit family in California – not the most restful time, but some wonderful things happened.

You may remember that in 2006 I went on drive-about (my version of walk-about) and visited my nephew in Tucson, Arizona.  He was in his first year of college and really just beginning his spiritual journey.  He asked many questions, we got him his first stones, and we talked about my doing a reading for him.  Well, things never seemed to work out for me to do a reading for him.  I now know that it is because he was not ready.  This Christmas he was ready.  He is now at a major crossroad, and needs to make some decisions.  So we sat down and talked about the situation and the choices he has to make – I knew that this was all led by Spirit, but he didn’t.  When we finished, he said that he was clearer on what he needed to do, and the decisions he had to make.  He then asked if we could use the cards for a ‘real’ reading.  The next day we had the opportunity to get the cards out.  He was amazed that the cards showed everything that we talked about the previous day – I was happy for the confirmation.  He was both thrilled and grateful.  Now the ball is in his court as to what he does with the information he was given.

Next order of business………New classes!!!!!!!!!!

January sees the start of new classes, both in Wilsonville, OR, and in Redmond, WA.  This will be the series of classes called Intuition: The Basics and Beyond.  It is designed to help you understand and develop your spiritual nature in a safe place.

Wilsonville, OR, classes will be held at my office conference room on the 2nd Saturday (January 12th) of each month at 10:30am.  This month we will be starting with Step 1: Sensing Energy.

Redmond, WA, class will be held at the Maitreya Center on the 4th Saturday (January 26th) of each month at 10:30am.  This month we will be starting with Step 1: Sensing Energy.

Cost for all classes is $30 per class.  However, I am offering a special offer: Save 15% when you prepay 5 consecutive classes ($127.50 total), or save 10% when you prepay for 3 consecutive classes ($81.00 total).  Please remember that no one will be turned away from these classes due to finances.

I also offer a referral bonus of 10% off a reading for each person you bring or refer to class, up to a maximum discount of 50% off a reading.  This can be used by you, or gifted to someone else.

I have, also, two continuing classes in Wilsonville on the 1st Saturday of the month.  The one at 10:30am is on Step 10: Auras, Psychometry and Pendulums, and the other at 1:00pm on Step 5: Meeting Your Guides.

As you can tell by the fact that the longest running group is on Step 10 (and has been going for a year now), that my students keep asking for more.  So I am working on giving it to them.  I do not know how far we will go, but it is always an adventure.

I look forward to having you join any of the above classes.  I can only take a limited number of students in each class (due to space), so I would appreciate hearing from you if you are interested in joining us.

One last thing, I have been updating my website, so check out the improvements www.goddesswithin.info.  Next month I will also have a new format for my newsletters, so look for that to come.

Greetings -                                                              30 January 2008

Here I sit at my computer, looking out my windows at the snow that fell last night. I watch as it slowly disappears, and wonder when I will see it again. I remember that childish delight when I first saw that it was snowing last night -- I had to run outside to see it! After a couple of hours, I went back outside and gathered up some of the snow to make a snowcone. Seem childish to you? Yes, it does to me, too. But I didn't grow up where it snowed, and I live in an area now that only sees a little snow once or twice a year.

Why am I going on about the snow? I know that some of you have had much more snow than my couple of inches, and that you have to drive in it, or work in it. I know that this is not fun - I have lived in Minnisota and Wyoming and upstate New York, and had to live and walk and drive in it. I know that the day to day with it is not fun. But, when I look out the window and see that beautiful white blanket of snow on the ground and in the trees, it looks like all those winter postcards, and it is truly beautiful! Now, you may ask, what does this have to do with developing our spiritual nature? I'll tell you. In order to even begin developing your spiritual nature, the first thing I told you was to change your focus. Don't look with your physical eyes, look with your spiritual eyes. See the things that are there that the human eye does not see. In regards to the snow, see the wonder and the possibility. Have you made a snowman recently? Had a snowball fight? Gone skiing/snowboarding/sleding? Have you made a snow angel? Think about the possibilities -- and then do at least one!

February Classes:

Saturday, February 2 - at my office in Wilsonville

      10:30am - Step 11: Numerology

       1:00pm - Step 1: Sensing Energy

Saturday, February 23 - at the Maitreya Center, Redmond, Wa

10:30am - Step 2: Grounding, Centering, and Protection

Please remember that anyone is always welcome at any class. Bring a friend and get a referral bonus. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Love and Blessings,

Greetings -                                                          April 2008

Here we are coming to the end of April. Spring has sprung - at least according to the calendar. Trees and flowers are beginning to bloom. Taxes are done - aren't they? So, where does that leave us?

I have been extremely busy this year and I need a break. At least that is what I tell myself. I think what I really need is a new outlook. I know that time seems to go faster and faster the older I get, but am I accomplishing as much as I did when I was younger? I think that is a relative question. I know that what I am doing now have much more meaning in the grand scheme of things - at least you can see how it fits in. Everything we do has meaning, so is there really a 'more meaningful' and 'less meaningful'? I don't think so. Everything we do and everything we are has value. The real question may be 'Are we aware of our own value?' Food for thought.

Wow! that wasn't what I had planned to talk about this month at all. What I wanted to talk about is committments. We make committments all the time. As casual as agreeing to meet for a movie or coffee, to more formally of agreeing to come to work at a certain time and work for a certain number of hours, to the committment to a spouse, and finally, the committments that we make to ourselves. Are these committmentments that we make to ourselves ay less important that the ones we make to someone else? We treat them like they are. We don't want to disappoint another person, but it is 'okay' to disappoint ourselves. Why is this? Am we less important than a casual friend? We treat ourselves like we are. We learn our value by how we are treated as children, and by what society says. 'If you think you are more important that everyone else, you are selfish, and being selfish is bad.' This thinking that valuing myself is selfish, and therefore, bad, is a really warped way of looking at things. If I don't value me, then why should anyone else? The more love I give myself, the more love I have to give to others. Food for thought.

Okay, enough philosophying for today. Here are the upcoming classes:

April 26nd(4th Saturday) - At the Maitreya Center in Redmond, WA

10:30am - Step 4a: Tuning Into Your Intuition

May 3rd(1st Saturday) - at my office in Wilsonville, OR

1:00pm - Step 4a: Tuning Into Your Intuition

May 24nd(4th Saturday) - At the Maitreya Center in Redmond, WA

10:30am - Step 4b: Tuning Into Your Intuition (part 2)

*****NO CLASSES IN JUNE, AS I WILL BE IN LOS ANGELES DOING A COUPLE OF TRAINING COURSES***** I will return in July, and our 1st Saturday classes will be held on the 2nd Saturday due to the 4th of July weekend.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Greetings –                                                                July 2008

I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far! I have been back home from Los Angeles for a week now, and am still not caught up! How time flies when you are busy!!

Here’s an update for you on my trip: I had a wonderful three-day celebration of my 50th birthday with family and friends the first week of June. Then off to Los Angeles…..
I knew that it would be intense – three, seven-day trainings with just one day off in between – but I really had no clue as to just how intense it was going to be. Every day was from 9am or 10am until 7 – 7:30pm for the first two training weeks, then, 9 or 10am until 8 – 8:30pm for the final weeks training. This, of course, did not include the time needed for homeplay (their word for homework), or other projects that needed to be done.

To say that I learned something is the understatement of the millennium!!!! I think that I was on overload by day 3 – which is exactly where they want you – the more scrambled you are, the less your conscious mind fights the process. I know that this sounds like brain washing, but it isn’t. The more we are able to get out conscious mind out of the way, the easier it is for our unconscious mind to take in what we are learning.

Here’s how the learnings broke down:
Week 1: Basics of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) as a practitioner, Neurological Repatterning™, Results Coaching, and Ericksonian Hypnosis. This included learning about how the brain creates neurological pathways for all of our ‘habits’, behaviors, and emotions, as well as how to change or eliminate those pathways that are no longer serving us. Upon completion of the training, along with a huge test, and many hours of listening to CD’s – and actually doing the processes on each other, of course – we were given certificates of each of the above.

Week 2: Master level of NLP (as a practitioner), Advanced Neurological Repatterning™, Master Results Coaching, Master Hypnosis, and Performance Consultant. What this meant, was that we learned the process to a deeper level, as well as other techniques in each discipline. After doing so many processes on each other (and, of course, using real problems or issues that we had) it was getting harder and harder to think of a problem to use – isn’t that an issue you wish you had? One of the many things that was so cool happened during our final hypnosis practice. We did full body catalepsy on each other. Now you are probably wondering what that is and why it is so cool – well, you know when magicians put someone in a trance and then put them up on two chairs (just suspended by their head and feet) – well, we did that!!!!!! It is so awesome what our minds can do!!!! We did not learn it as a parlor trick, but as proof of just how powerful our minds are – and this is our unconscious mind that I am speaking about. So, after another really big test, many hours of practicing, and studying, we were given the above Master level certificates. A lot of work, but well worth it.

Week 3: Now we changed our focus to Platform and Presentation Skills. This week was totally different from the first two. We had a different trainer (instructor) and we learned how to give a presentation from the ground up. Our first exercise was to stand in presenter’s stance without moving, fidgeting, or talking for 3 minutes. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but three minutes is a really long time with you are just looking at your audience and they are just looking at you. But by the end of the week, we gave a 30-minute presentation on the topic of our choice with wall charts and everything that we had learned during the week. It was really amazing, the transformation in everyone’s presentations. We were taught layer by layer how to give a really informative, entertaining talk. By the end of the week, after all of the presentation exercises, another big test, and a couple of other projects, we were awarded completion certificates as well as certified as a NLP Trainer. We had a couple of really special guest speakers: Mark Victor Hansen (of the Chicken Soup series, among many other things), and Roger Love, a voice coach to many stars and celebrities.

By the beginning of our third week we were all starting to see that what we were learning really works. For me personally, I learned that I am not the same person I was before going. The first week we did something called a neural bridge. This allows you to take a behavior that is undesirable (like procrastination) and change it into something desirable (like focused motivation). In case you have not figured it out yet, these were the two I used for my bridge. After the first week, we only had one day off (Sunday) before we started the second training. I spent almost the entire day and evening doing my test for the Masters class. By Tuesday morning, I had both my master’s test and another test done for the class – now these tests were not due until the sixth day, and I had them done on the second day. If you had known be before, you would have known that this was not usual behavior for me – I was known as the queen of procrastination. I had not even realize that there was anything different until I was talking with a friend on that Tuesday morning about having the tests done, and she asked if it might have anything to do with the neural bridge we built ---well, you should have seen the light bulb that went on over my head – it was an amazing feeling, to know that this was no longer an issue for me, and even better, that I now have the tools to help others make this same change. The processes I learned are simple, quick, and effective, and I can’t wait to start sharing the wealth with all of you. I have lots of projects to work on now, as well as the classes I already teach. I don’t know how these new teachings will affect my current classes, but I am sure that they will, or maybe not for now, and just be in addition to what I am doing.

If you are interested in learning how these new learnings can help you change your life, please email or call, and we can discuss the matter. I am also available for Results Coaching. You may want to take advantage of these new services (and no, they aren’t listed on my website yet, but they will be soon) before my rates go up. It is not unusual for the coaching sessions to be $3000 and up – no, I will not be charging that to start, but I can foresee a time when I will be charging even more, because I will help you get the results you want, and, yes, I am that good. I am also available for speaking engagements, so if you know any groups that are looking for speakers, I am available. That is another awesome benefit to this training – I am no longer scared of public speaking…..in fact, I look forward to it! You can’t beat it – as our new catch phrase goes – ‘this sh*t works!’

Okay, that was my month away for this year. Now on to old business…….

July classes……..

Saturday, July 12th @ 10:30am at my office in Wilsonville, OR
Step 14: Astral Projection -vs- Astral Travel

Saturday, July 12th @ 1pm at my office in Wilsonville, OR
Either Step 3: Chakras or Step 4a: Tuning Into Your Intuition
- depending on the common consensus of the attendees

Saturday, July 26th @ 10:30am at the Maitreya Center in Redmond, WA
Step 5: Meeting Your Guides

I think that is it for now, thank you for letting me bend your ear for a while – but, I guess it is actually your eyes since you are reading this and not listening to it, but that just sounds gross, sorry. I look forward to hearing from you as to what is new in your life, and how I can assist you – or just what is new in your life…….

 Greetings -        November 2008

Here we are, November already!  I hope that you all got out

and voted.  I don't think it is as important who you voted

for (but if it was for my choice, even better), but that you

were part of the process.  Remember, you can't complain about

the result if you weren't part of the process.

Okay....a lot has happened since I last sent you a newsletter

- and the election was just a small part of it.  As you may

recall from the last newsletter, October was a very busy

month for me with two expos, one class, an open house, and a

week in Los Angeles for training.  Well, add one

more thing....my beloved, faithful companion of 15 years made

the transition to the other side.  My dog, Maxx, was

suffering with cancer, and on October 6th made his last trip

to the vet's.  Sparky and I are adjusting.  I have taken the

time to reflect on our life together, and it was a wonderful

15 years.  I know that some of you are probably thinking,

"What's the big deal?  It was only a dog!"  But Maxx was like

a son to me.  I believe that everyone and everything that

crosses our path is there for a reason, and is a teacher for

us to learn from.

I learned many things from Maxx:

  • Never give up - you can always chase the ball one more time, no matter how tired you are.
  • If something excites you, and is a passion for you, focus all your attention on it.
  • Love with all your heart.
  • Forgive immediately and then forget it ever happened.
  • Sometimes a silent companion is just what you need, because sometimes words aren't important, just your presence.
  • Adapt to new circumstances like you have always been there, just make sure to pack your toys so that it feels like home.
  • Take time to look around, you never know what you might find.
  • Everyone you meet is just a friend you don't know yet, so give them your best smile (and a big sloppy kiss wouldn't hurt either).
  • Greet everyone as a long lost friend, they just might be.
  • Live each day to the fullest, and best of your ability.

That is just some of the things that I learned from Maxx.  He

traveled with me all around this country and Canada, living

in many different states, and probably has more frequent

flyer miles than some of you.

So, on to another topic.  I love the fall!! I find it amazing

just how quickly things can change.  I left for LA on the

19th, and my big maple tree was just barely starting to

change color.  When I returned on the 27th, that tree was 3/4

yellow and 1/4th bare already -- in just over a week!!  How

quickly things can change!  This applies to all parts of our

lives as well (not just the trees).  We can be just moseying

alone on our journey, when suddenly a challenge pops up!

What do we do?  How do we handle this situation?  What are we

going to learn from this challenge?  And, is how we handle

this challenge the way that we handle all things in our life?

Is this beneficial, or not?  This could be part of the

learnings that we take away from this situation.  Food for

thought.

Okay, when I left PDX (Portland Int'l Airport) at 9:30am, it

was about 40 degrees (a lovely temperature, if you ask me).

During my week in LA, the daytime temperatures were between

90 and 96 - everyday!! -- and got down to about 60 at night -

yuck (for me).  It was such a relief to return home to 50

degree weather again.

So, what did I learn in LA at the trainings?  Well, before

the trainings even began on Tuesday, I had a voice lesson

with a vocal coach, Roger Love, that was just awesome.  I

learned a couple of things to do to make my voice stronger

without causing a strain.  It is pretty awesome to have a

vocal coach to the stars (Tony Robbins, Joel Gray, Marianne

Williamson, the Beach Boys, the Jackson Five (when he just

was starting out at age 16!), and probably anyone else you

could think of) tell me that he loves my voice!  I kow that

this may seem like boasting, and it probably is, but it was

just so dang cool!!  Then, I was able to spend time with my

niece who just started college this year at Azuza Pacific.

We had a wonderful time, even though it was only a few hours.

It helped me to realize just how important it is to support

our young people.  We need to empower our girls - let them

know that they can do, and be, anything they want.

As for the trainings themselves....I learned a lot about me.

One course, Design Your Destiny, was all about learning who I

am and what do I want out of this life, and how am I going to

go about getting it.  The course was woven around a fabulous

book, The Alchemist by Paul Coelho.  This is all about a boy

discovering his personal legend (his life path).  I recommend

this book to everyone.

Here is what I learned:

My Purpose for this life is to teach universal truths.

My Vision is that all people have the life they desire.

My Mission is to be reaching every person to teach them to

create the life they desire through speaking, teaching, and

writing.

My Legacy (what I will leave behind when I am no longer here,

but it can be a Living Legacy, started while I am still here)

is a scholarship foundation for the purpose of empowering,

educating, and transforming the lives of men and women who

have a burning desire to change their life, but never thought

they would have the opportunity.  These men and women will be

partnered with a mentor, and will be required to give back to

others what they have received, both during their time in the

program and for a period of time afterwards.

Some of this I already knew - I knew that I was here to

teach.  But some of it, my legacy, I had no clue of until we

got to that part of the training.  After the lecture part

about what a legacy was, we were given time to write down

what our legacy is, or will be.  At first, all I came up with

was part of my dream, an international organization to teach

people how to have the life they desire, and how to pass on

that information to others.  But, I thought that this wasn't

my true legacy.  Yes, it will help me to fulfill my mission,

vision and purpose, but I want to leave more.  Then I wrote

down a scholarship foundation, and all the rest seemed to

write itself.  It was pretty cool to have a lot of the

details writing themselves on the paper - at least that is

what it seemed like - and it all felt right.  I would like

you to help me if you can.  I don't know anything about

setting up a foundation, getting grants, etc.  If you do, and

would like to be part of this project, I would love to have

you on board.  Even if you don't know anything about setting

it up, but would like to be a part of this, I would love to

have you on board.

I learned about how to set some realistic goals, and how to

program my unconscious mind through something called Directed

Suggestion, a form of self-hyposis.  This has also given the

best sleep I have had in years!

November Class:

Saturday, the 15th (the third Saturday, not the fourth), to

be held in Seattle (not at the Maitreya Center) at 10:30am.

We will be studying Oracle Cards - what they are and how to

use them.  It will involve doing reading for yourself and

others.  If you have a deck of cards you like, feel free to

bring them.  I will also have several decks of my own.  I

will also be sharing some of the many layouts, as well as the

layout I use.

Because the class is being held in a private home, when you

email me (or call) I will give you the address.  I want to

respect the privacy of my student.  However, everyone is

welcome to class.

December's class (in Seattle) will probably be on the 20th

instead of the 27th, due to Christmas.

There are no plans, for right now, for a class in Oregon.  If

you are interested in a class, please let me know.

I think that is it for now.  Thank you for reading this far.

I hope you learned something, or were at least entertained.

If you have any comments, I am always eager to hear what you

have to share.  Until next time....live your journey to its

fullest, and remember to have fun along the way.

Love and Blessings,

Kitty Moller
